In 2015, Diana began teaching creative writing courses for Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth. Acting as a mentor, she provides gifted students, from grades 7 – 12, with constructive editorial feedback to improve their writing ability. She currently teaches a sophomore-level college course on Writing Analysis and Persuasion where she instructs students through constructive criticism, offers extensive specific comments, and carries on a meta-cognitive discussion about writing and the experience of writing. Her aim is to teach students some of what she’s learned as a professional author, and guide them as they find their own writing voice.
